Clari’s latest $150M funding round—bringing the company’s total valuation to $1.6 billion—is a testament to the confidence investors have in the future of revenue operations.

The news “is more than just the next phase in Clari’s evolution. It’s validation for the entire revenue operations movement,” says Clari CEO Andy Byrne.

He tells Techcrunch: “[VCs] were hearing in the investment community about how transformative Clari has been […] just giving companies what we call revenue confidence, being able to go and understand where you’re going to be.”

Ajay Agarwal, a partner at Bain Capital Ventures, a Series B through E investor, calls RevOps “the most important business process for any high growth company.”

Fellow Bain partner and Clari board member Aaref Hilaly explains why on LinkedIn.

The number one uncertainty many companies face is how much revenue they can expect this month or this quarter,” Hilaly writes. “Clari started by helping companies forecast this, both leveraging AI and by supporting better deal inspection and pipeline management. But what’s become clear from working with hundreds of customers is that this is all part of a broader business process around managing revenue operations.”

“Revenue is something everybody lives and dies by,” Silver Lake managing partner Ken Hao tells Bloomberg. Silver Lake was the principal investor in our Series E funding round.

“RevOps is quickly emerging as a favored strategy for businesses to drive scalable, predictable, and efficient growth,” Crissy Costa, a principal at B Capital Group, explains on Medium

Sequoia’s Jim Goetz agrees.

“In boardrooms across Sequoia’s portfolio,” he writes, “founders and other leaders who once struggled to forecast changes in revenue are now running an observable, instrumented and optimized business process.”

We’re Leading the Movement

RevOps is revolutionizing B2B sales, and we’re proud to be at the helm of the movement. Here’s what revenue leaders have to say about Clari:

  • “Clari is the linchpin of accurate revenue predictions, which is critical for any publicly-traded company because there are no excuses in the big leagues,” says Joe Vitalone, CRO at Extreme Networks.
  • “The rich data captured in Clari helps our direct sales team call their number with more confidence and accuracy,” says Kelly Steckelberg, CFO at Zoom.
  • “Clari is the lowest effort, highest return revenue platform we’ve used,” says Rick Capstraw, CRO at Verizon Media Platform.
  • “Clari gives us the insights we need daily, if not hourly, to assess and measure the execution against our goals,” says Steve Fitz, CRO at Sumo Logic.
  • "From the frontline manager to RVPs, CEO, and up to the board, Clari is the interface for our entire revenue organization,” says Thomas Neergaard Hansen, CRO at UiPath.
